Murmansk Russia Seminar 2006: Pat Sensei traveled to Murmansk for her first Russian Seminar where she was hosted by Alexandr Kravchuk, 4th dan Dojocho of Murmansk Iwama Ryu Aikido.
The timing of the seminar coincided with the 15th year Dojo Anniversary of Aikido of Murmansk. Pat Sensei, other Aikidoists, and local martial arts groups helped Alexandr Sensei celebrate the occasion with a variety of demonstrations. |

The two-day seminar consisted of both taijitsu and bukiwaza.
Taijitsu classes were centered around:
varieties of ushiro techniques from kihon to kinonagare, plus
randori.
Bukiwaza included:
kumitachi 1, 4 and 5 with henkas, and
kumijo 1 and 7 with henkas, plus
tantodori.
